Below is a selection of process images from my process for this painting. This painting of Mono Lake was completed using acrylic paint on an 11x14in canvas, primed with gesso. I used only the primary colors: blue, red, and yellow with some white and black from which I derived all the other colors I used. This painting is based on a photograph taken by Danilo Chacon.
